B. Bourns, Partner
Courtney B. Bourns practices in the area of matrimonial and family
law, with a focus on alternative dispute resolution and mediation.
He is a member of the Hartford County, Connecticut, and American
Bar Associations and the Academy of Family Mediators. Attorney Bourns
received a B.S. degree from Tufts University and an LL.B. from Duke
University Law School, where he was an editor of the Duke Law Journal.
He is admitted to practice in Connecticut (1964).

Bourns is a Special Master with the Hartford Superior Court Family
Mediation Panel. He is the founder of The Gathering Place, a charitable
organization that serves as a bridge between Hartford and suburban
communities.
