Barbara
D. Aaron, Partner
Barbara D. Aaron practices in the areas of matrimonial and family
law, and also specializes in alternative dispute resolution including
mediation, and collaborative divorce. She is a member of the Hartford
County, Connecticut, and American Bar Associations; the Collaborative
Divorce Lawyers Association; the American Association of Conciliation
Courts; The Association of Conflict Resolution; the Executive Committee
of the Connecticut Bar Association Family Law Section and was past
chairperson of the Connecticut Bar Association Alternative Dispute
Resolution Committee. Attorney Aaron is also a founding member and
currently is on the board of directors of the Connecticut Council
for Divorce Mediation. Attorney Aaron earned a B.A. in Literature
from Washington, D.C.'s American University and a J.D. from Brooklyn
Law School. She is admitted to practice in Connecticut, New York and
the Federal Courts.
Attorney
Aaron has extensive experience as an educator and trainer in the
fields of conflict resolution and mediation. She is an appointed
Magistrate and Small Claims Commissioner for the State of Connecticut
in the Superior Courts of Manchester, Middletown, and West Hartford.
She is also a Special Master for Family Matters in the Judicial
Districts of Hartford, New Britain, and Middlesex.
